Tiger cub to be hand reared at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm 31st Jul 2009
Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm is full of animal noises but this morning a very different call was heard. It was a small baby Bengal Tiger cub. The tiny cub, which weighs just 2lb 3oz, was born on Tuesday 29th July in front of a global audience of thousands, live on the Tiger Webcam. Head Keeper, Chris Wilkinson, tells us more; “Tira began her contractions mid afternoon and gave birth approximately 1.30pm. Sadly two of the cubs were stillborn with one surviving. New Partnership with the World Land Trust 15th Dec 2008

One of Cornwall’s best know tourist attractions the Minack Theatre is the latest place to have a live video stream installed and supplied by fiNETra. The theatre has had two static cameras uploading an image every 20 seconds but now the 100,000 visitors to the site can see what is happening right now.The Minack theatre is carved into the cliffs in Porthcurno, 20 minutes from Penzance, Cornwall. Zoo rhinos return to online limelight 29th Sep 2008
Paignton Zoo’s rare black rhinos are
making their internet comeback.
Female black rhino Sita became an
international celebrity when the birth of her calf Zuri was broadcast
on the internet in March 2007.
Now, Paignton Zoo Environmental Park
has installed a web cam inside the rhino house to allow fans to watch
the pair. The camera will show live video footage every day from
9.00am until 7pm.

Bristol Zoo Gardens Installs Gorilla Webcam 20th Aug 2008
Fans of Bristol
Zoo Gardens’ family of gorillas can now watch these fascinating
creatures at the click of a button as the Zoo launches its new
gorilla webcam.
The webcam will stream live views of the Zoo’s
impressive Gorilla Island, home to the Zoo’s family of five
gorillas: Jock the 220kg (more than 34 stone) adult male, Salome and
Romina the two adult females, three-year-old Namoki and little
Komale, who is almost two.
