In 2008 World Land Trust set up a jungle cam in the remote tropical rainforest of Buenaventura Reserve in Equador. The camera was situated in a prime position to capture footage of new and endangered species, effectively showcasing the Trust's work to the world, encouraging people to get more involved with the environment.
However, the initial camera used did not have the technical capabilities that were required in this unique environment and, on viewing the broken link to the 'live' camera, we contacted World Land Trust to see if we could help.
Within two days we had installed our state of the art camera technology, a live stream was configured and up and running, providing the uninterrupted footage World Land Trust had originally been looking for. Following the success of this camera installation World Land trust are now looking at installing cameras in a variety of locations across the world.
"After our initial disappointment with the technological quality and footage of the first installation, we were extremely impressed with the speed and quality delivered by fiNETra's camera solution. The camera has now become one of the most popular features on our website."
"We are confident that these webcams will ultimately become a vital tool for World Land Trust and its education programme and, as such, are in discussions with fiNETra regarding upcoming projects for this year."
